Visit IRIDAS at Broadcast Madrid 2009, November 3-6
IRIDAS reseller Trigital will show the latest SpeedGrade, FrameCycler and MetaRender products at Broadcast Madrid 2009, Stand 9G03B. IRIDAS will demonstrate advanced tools for previs, review, dailies and finishing, and a refined workflow for stereoscopic moviemaking.
RealTime RAW 3.0
SpeedGrade, FrameCycler and MetaRender include extended support for the latest digital cinema cameras. Using the industry-leading RealTime RAW 3.0 technology, IRIDAS products support all cameras used in digital movie production today, including the ARRI D21, Phantom, RED, Silicon Imaging and WEISSCAM cameras. The new network rendering option in MetaRender provides faster-than-realtime processing of offline files for editorial, eliminating the need for tape-based workflows. MetaRender also provides a key building block for fast transcoding of RED dailies into the DNxHD file format for fast import into AVID editing suites.
New DualStream 3D Stereo Tools
The 2009 versions of FrameCycler and SpeedGrade include an advanced 3D Stereo toolset. For dailies grading, SpeedGrade now includes direct access to native stereo encoded RAW formats from Vision Research (Phantom) and Silicon Imaging (SI-2K). Comprehensive tools for dealing with spatial and temporal offests as well as defining zero parallax enable quick adjustment of technical stereoscopy for dailies. The new creative DualStream toolset greatly expands the 3D Stereo finishing capabilities in SpeedGrade DI and SpeedGrade XR.

Broadcast Madrid 2009
Parque Juan Carlos I
With the introduction of FrameCycler in 2001, IRIDAS redefined the way artists viewed digital footage. In 2002, IRIDAS introduced the first stereoscopic review tools for the post industry. In 2003, SpeedGrade, the first GPU-based color grading application, brought new levels of performance to color correction and a unified way to communicate color in production workflows. The introduction of RealTime RAW in 2007, brought instant playback and color correction to RAW camera pipelines. Today, IRIDAS aims to streamline production and post from on set to finishing, and helps make stereoscopic moviemaking an everyday reality.
